The Seven Stories

Penrith Library Exhibition

Now on display at Penrith library: Bottle in a Message – A response.

Last year the Penrith Library group worked on a project which explored the idea of not having a voice, of not feeling free to express yourself without being judged wrong somehow; the difference between what is said and what is understood.  They were asked to create a response to that project, now exhibited in a public space: the bottle hanging above. DSC_1125

The Seven Stories is a project run by Prism Arts and Cumbria Library Services. The Seven Stories project worked with groups young and old, click on the link to read more information about The Seven Stories project and see what the younger groups have been getting up to: http://www.prismarts.org.uk/young-people/

More workshops will run during Autumn including an exhibition held at Carlisle Library in October 2016.

Together, we will explore the mass of knowledge, ideas and stories that are held within the library. We will explore, design and produce artwork for exhibitions in Carlisle Library.
