Artist Lunch

Artist Lunch for Cumbrian artists working with older people and people living with dementia - organised by Equal Arts and Prism Arts

Prism Arts and Equal Arts have teamed up to organise an Artist Lunch on Thursday 21st May.

This is a great opportunity to talk to other practising artists, to discuss practice, and to find out about work that other artists are doing with older people / people with dementia.

The aim is to bring together artists of all disciplines working with older people, to talk about their work and to share practice.

The event will take place in Prism Arts’ workshop space (Carlisle Business Interaction Centre, 4-5 Paternoster Row, Carlisle), from 12-2pm on Thursday 21st May. The event is free, and includes lunch!

The event will tie in with Dementia Awareness Week, which means that you will also have the opportunity to see Stand Long & Grow Tall: an exhibition of artwork by Prism Arts’ ‘Creative Arts and Conversation’ group of older people, stroke survivors and people with dementia.

There is no charge for the Artist Lunch, but we do need to know numbers, so please email if you’re interested.
