Joining Studio Workshop gives you the opportunity to act, create theatre sets, costumes, props and puppets, to learn new skills with professional artists, meet new people and perform on stage.
Studio Workshop is our introductory arts and theatre programme for adults with learning disabilities and autism which runs once a week, on Thursdays, throughout the academic year.
Participants join this programme to discover or develop their visual arts and theatre skills. They are given the opportunity to develop skills in both of these areas dependant on where their interest lies. The group work together to shape the content of the programme.
The weekly workshops take a multi art form approach; participants work with professional, experienced artists to learn a range of skills, including drama, print making, model making, painting, clay work and puppetry.
