Prism Arts held a one-day seminar to explore how learning and development can be enhanced through diversity and creativity.
Ofsted are increasingly focusing on young people’s emotional resilience, and Arts Council England are placing a growing emphasis on partnerships between arts organisations and education. This one-day seminar showed you how to:
DEVELOP young people’s emotional resilience through creativity.
DISCOVER creative approaches to learning through diversity.
EXPLORE diversity in your school or youth group through the arts.
The seminar included performance, film, discussion and practical workshops led by;
Artists and Teachers,
Young learning disabled people from Prism Arts Studio Theatre,
Students from Distington Community School, Mayfield SEN Physical & Sensory Specialist School and Holme St Cuthbert School,
Young people from Brewery Youth Arts.

The Seminar was held on Tuesday 15th March 2016, 10am – 3.30pm at the Brewery Arts Centre, Kendal. It cost £20 per delegate (lunch was included)
