What are we looking for?
Prism Arts seeks an organised and experienced Project Manager to assist with current funded projects alongside development of stronger project management systems so that we can manage our growth, ensuring that the charity is delivering excellent processes, internally and externally.
We deliver work funded by a range of large and small funders, including HLF, Esme Fairburn, Big Lottery, Cumbria Community Foundation and Arts Council England. We need a project manager with excellent relationship management skills and an eye for detail, to work on ensuring we meet our obligations to funders, manage budgets well and maximise our impacts.
Prism Arts is a people centred organisation, working with a broad range of participants with often complex needs. As a project manager, you will have exceptional people-skills, being able to put people at ease and communicate effectively, tailoring your behaviour to the appropriate level for the environment and task at hand.
As a complex, multi-stranded organisation, we need you to be able to work well across digital and paper based organisation systems. Suggesting appropriate improvements to processes and supporting the project delivery and administration teams to adopt and use them.
As a 30 year old charity with established relationships and a legacy of delivering great work, we maintain a core delivery program alongside constantly planning future work. We are seeking an individual who can support future planning across the team, enabling us to build on our legacy and secure our future.
Core to our ethos is working collaboratively with our participants supporting and facilitating their ideas to become a reality, working through the visual arts and theatre. All projects are delivered and supported by professional artists. We need a project manager excited by big ideas, who has a flexible approach and collaborative approach to working.
We are an arts led organisation, seeking a project manager who is excited by the creative aspect of our work and comfortable within a busy studio environment. All our work is produced to the highest standard and is exhibited / performed in key venues across the region. We are committed to developing artists / performers who are integral to our portfolio of projects and want you to be excited by that too.
We are locally rooted, and deliver work across our region. We would like to work with a project manager who wants to escape the office. It is essential to work one day a week with our learning disabled and autism theatre project on Cumbria’s West Coast, and also frequently engaging with our studio arts team in Carlisle.
Our impact is felt by our participants, their families and our work audiences, so we are seeking a hands-on project manager. Able to gather, manage and harness evaluation data, photographs, and insights, bringing them together into stories and reports that communicate the experience and impact of our work honestly and persuasively to our funders and our communities.
Our program can be very busy, it is really important that we take time out as a team to reflect on and evaluate our work, iterate our approach and learn from our experience. We are seeking a project manager who understands the ‘long tail’ of projects, who is able to schedule and document team meetings, briefings and check-in points in a way that is considerate of the other pressures on our staff team and enables us to continue to do great work.
